Smoke Prediction: Monday we may see some clearing – while smoke will remain, it might be less for us than experienced last week, over the next few days…
Some people may be sensitive to air pollution at the “Moderate” level, like people with heart or lung disease, or a current respiratory infection. They should limit outdoor activity.
____________________________________________________________________________________
When air quality is in this range “Unhealthy for Sensitive Populations” there is an increasing likelihood of adverse health effects for those with pre-existing heart and lung diseases. People with pre-existing heart and lung diseases, the elderly, and children should limit prolonged outdoor exertion
______________________________________________________________________________
When the air quality is in the “Very Unhealthy” range there may be increased aggravation of pre-existing heart and lung diseases and premature mortality among sensitive populations. Increasing adverse respiratory effects may also be seen in the general population. People with pre-existing health conditions, the elderly, and children should avoid any prolonged exertion. Everyone else should limit prolonged exertion and time spent outdoors.
