Campfires will still be allowed in designated campgrounds and wilderness areas within the Methow Valley and Tonasket Ranger Districts in Okanogan County. In addition, campfires are also allowed in Brevicomis Tract summer homes within the Methow Valley Ranger District and summer homes under permit within the Tonasket Ranger District. For a list of locations where campfires are allowed, please contact Methow Valley Ranger District at 509-996-4000 or Tonasket Ranger District at 509-486-2186.
